Armored
War. According to the Bible, we’re all in one.
Our unseen enemy is real. The fighting is furious. There are victories and casualties as a supernatural battle rages for our hearts and the hearts of our families. So how vulnerable are you? God offers each of us the unique weapons of combat that are required.
Get armed.
Join us for Armored.
We all express joy in the things that give us pleasure. “Wow – what a perfect sunset.” “I love the sound of leaves crunching under foot.” “You are so beautiful.” We express praise as a part of our enjoyment. The Psalms teach us that in God’s presence we find fullness of joy. So – how do we express that? Or have we forgotten how to even experience overwhelming joy? What comes to mind when you think of worship? Hymns? Prayer? Lifted hands? That perfect sunset? - or complete joy in the presence of God? True worship is spiritual, grateful, and heartfelt. It brings us into closer proximity and makes us aware of God’s presence – everywhere.
Proximity – October 2010
When it comes to family life, most of us already know what to do. Great families should practice the solid values of respect, love, honor, and nurturing. The Bible clearly speaks about building family values in the book of Ephesians. We know we need to do better - to try harder; but who needs more guilt? This is not your typical family series. Instead of another checklist of what to do, we’ll look at God’s plan for how we can make family life better. Who we are as Christians impacts what we do in our home. The foundational principles found in Ephesians Chapters 1-3 set up the family instruction found in Ephesians Chapters 5 and 6.
Let’s talk about constructive ways to build into our families - from the ground up.
The Apostle John, one of Jesus’ followers, wrote a letter to some friends who were unsure whether they had eternal life or not. He wrote in his letter “that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13).
This letter included in the Bible teaches that true believers in Christ have observable distinguishing characteristics. Living in the light. Obeying the commandments. Loving others. Overcoming the world. Freedom from habitual sin. Knowing and loving God. Abiding in Christ.
When we see this kind of spiritual reality in our lives, we can be sure.
How sure are you?
Join us for this study of 1 John.
In our pluralistic culture, most have heard this before: “All religions lead to the same God. It doesn’t matter what you believe as long as you’re sincere.”

Learn why Jesus is the One and Only – the Way, the Truth and the Life.
What if Jesus being raised from the dead had as much to do with our life today as it does with our eternal life? What would happen if we lived like there really was a resurrection and that it could truly affect the here and now?
We’re talking about the resurrection of Jesus Christ and how it should impact our world, future and day-to-day lives.
Alive: Living Like There’s A Resurrection.
...John the Baptist came preaching…”Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand…For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah… Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.” Matthew 3:1a, 2, 3b (ESV)
repent (v.):
to feel such sorrow for sin or fault as to be disposed to change one’s life for the better; be penitent.
prepare (v.):
make ready or suitable or equip in advance for a particular purpose or for some use or event…

Revolution
What does the DNA of a radical church look like?
That’s what we want to be: radical for Jesus. We want our worship to be radical. We want our love to be radical. And we want radical desire for the lost and dying to know Jesus personally.
Join us in February for “Revolution: The DNA of a Radical Church,” and discover what a radical church looks like.
Sharing is an admirable and desirable virtue … though it’s one that’s difficult to live out. We tend to focus on our own needs and all we feel we deserve.
But that’s not what God intends for us. When we share, we are most like God. And His blessings for us when we share are abundant.
Join us in January for “Overflow,” and discover the joy found in sharing.
What if your best days are ahead?
When it comes to spirituality in the American church, some people seem to delight in a “doom and gloom” mindset. But what if our best days are ahead of us?
Think back to when you were closest to God. What if you could be that close again?
What if your walk with Christ was close and exciting? What if you heard His still, small voice every day? What if you kept up a running conversation with Jesus all week long? What if you really joined with Jesus on His mission to help the poor and win the lost? What if you really prayed for friends and family members and saw them come to Christ? What if your prayer life was passionate and productive and punctuated with answered prayers? What if reading the Bible was gave you insights and intimacy that really transformed your life.
It would be safe to call that personal “revival.” And what if hundreds – even thousands – of people in NE Ohio had those very same experiences?
Revival is possible. It’s a gracious gift God can sovereignly give to those who seek Him with all their hearts.
Join us as we encourage each other to seek God for revival.
