Mission Supply Drive
Help equip our missionaries with the supplies needed to serve the needy in El Salvador, Haiti, Appalachia, Slidell, and Cleveland. Pick up a paper bag in the foyer and follow the attached instructions.
Donations may to returned during the weekends of March 6 / 7 and March 13 / 14.


Disaster Relief Certification Training Friday / Saturday, March 19 and 20 at CVC
Disasters will happen.  It’s the when, where and how that are the unknowns.  This training is an easy step that will equip you and give you the necessary certification for the “first response services” that are so necessary and so appreciated. 
Training sessions will be:
●   Friday, March 19 from 6-9pm   AND  ●   Saturday, March 20 from 8am-3pm
Both sessions are required for certification.
Certification will be available in:
●     Food Service: preparation and service of meals
●     Chain Saw Team: assistance in clean-up/cut down of trees and brush to reestablish reasonable access to personal property.
●     Child Care Team: child care from birth to second grade.
●     Communications Team: HAM radio communications to assist disaster response efforts.
●     Mud-out Team: cleaning out homes after a flood.
●     Shower Team: providing shower facility support for disaster relief volunteers.
Cost is $20 per person or $35 per couple.

Village Grace Easter Egg Hunt – March 27
Minister to inner-city children in the Fleet Avenue area by helping to put on an Easter Egg Hunt. Volunteers are needed for the day of the event beginning at 9:00am. Donations of stuffed Easter eggs, prizes for games (toys, games, books, socks, etc.) and snacks for the children are appreciated. Village Grace Friday Game Nights
Help with weekly game nights geared towards inner-city children in the Fleet Avenue area. Children, who are left unattended after school, are kept busy with safe, fun activities. Haitian Earthquake Response
Pray.    As Christians, our first response to the tragic earthquake in Haiti is to pray for the people affected and for the relief workers who will be heading into decimated areas.
Give.    Cuyahoga Valley Church is recommending that money be sent to the North American Mission Board Disaster Relief Fund, as NAMB is well-known for its effectiveness in disaster relief.  Please be sure to visit www.namb.net or www.gobgr.org.
Go.  A team will be traveling to Jacksonville, Florida to sort and pack food and other donations that will ultimately be used for the victims in Haiti. Team members may also be assembling water purification systems.
