Receiving or Rejecting Jesus: Lead Pastor Chad Allen leads us further into the Gospel of Luke (Luke 4:16-30) as we continue to learn about the importance of Christ’s divinity and humanity. Luke 4 teaches that as Jesus led His ministry back to His hometown in Nazareth, the crowds were amazed at His teaching ability, but their pride kept them from seeing the truth of their own spiritual poverty and bondage, leaving them instead to reject this man they grew up. Much like those in Nazareth, we must respond to Jesus’ teachings. The question is, will we receive or reject the loving yet bold teachings of Christ?
