Since 2008, we’ve had the joy and privilege of serving the Lord among the Tarahumara (Rarámuri) people, deep in the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara in northwestern Mexico.

Beto, a medical doctor, uses his skills to serve the local community through a clinic that God has graciously provided. While he enjoys the medical field, his greatest passion is sharing the Gospel and discipling the believers God is drawing to Himself. Over the years, we’ve witnessed God establish a fully indigenous church, and Beto’s main focus has become the discipleship and leadership training of native Rarámuri leaders.

Ale dedicates much of her time to raising and homeschooling our daughters, and she also disciples the women of the church in our village of La Mesa.

We are also part of the Bondservant Missionary Training Program, where we serve as staff and instructors. This ten-week program combines classroom teaching with hands-on ministry in the Sierra Tarahumara, giving students a chance to experience cross-cultural missions firsthand and serve alongside the local church using the tools they’ve learned.

Additionally, God has opened doors for us to teach on cross-cultural missions in three Bible institutes. There, we offer classes on worldview, cross-cultural evangelism, spiritual warfare, and more—equipping others to carry the Good News to the nations.
