10|24 Visor Challenge

Someone placed their new life 10/24 prayer card on their car visor and started praying for people by name when they are driving, at stoplights, or waiting in the car.

Last week we heard that one of our Cuyahoga Valley Church family members placed their new life 10/24 prayer card on their car visor and started praying for people by name when they are driving, at stoplights, or waiting in the car.

Simple and brilliant.

I keep one in my car visor and pray for them at a red light or waiting in my car. I have a friend on that list for 37 years, she finally came to church the other week. My ex-daughter-in-law who about 8 years ago cut my son’s hands up with a knife, slicing his 8 fingers down to the tendons, is asking me to tell her more about Jesus. When our Pastors preach love, forgiveness and prayer we all need to listen. It isn’t easy to forgive….. but it’s not about ME – it’s all about GOD! AMEN!”

For the month of October, let’s do the same and challenge everyone we know that CVC to also do the same. As we enter our 10th month of the praying for of the 10|24 names  and hoping for a chance to share the gospel with them Let’s do this! Who’s in?
