Pastor Joe Valenti teaches from Exodus 5. Today’s sermon title: Out of the Frying Pan and Into the Fire.
Pastor Dean Siley teaches from Exodus 4. Today’s Sermon Title: Moses’ Hesitance to Accept His Calling.
Exodus 3 reveals God’s identity as the Hero of the story. His name, “I am that I am,” encapsulates His self-existence, self-sufficiency, unchanging nature, eternality, and incomprehensibility. Moses provides a model for responding to the Hero’s call: go see, listen up, show reverence, say yes, and get going. Even in times of delayed deliverance, we can trust that God is working for His glory and our eternal good.
Pastor Joe Valenti teaches from Exodus 2. Today’s sermon title: In Search of a Hero.
Dive into Exodus as we uncover the hero of the story, and it’s not who you might expect! Through a thought-provoking analysis, Pastor Joe explores the intricate details of Moses’ life and journey, revealing the true hero of the narrative – God Himself. Discover how faith plays a pivotal role, as the people cry out for help, and God responds in His remarkable way. This sermon will inspire you to embrace the ultimate hero, Jesus Christ, who always keeps His promises. Join us in exploring faith, hope, and the divine providence that guides us through life’s challenges.
Pastor Rick Duncan takes us into week 1 of our new series in Exodus where he explores the themes of injustice, oppression, and exploitation, inviting viewers to reflect on personal experiences with these challenges. We dive into various forms of oppression, from workplace exploitation to racial profiling, religious discrimination, and betrayal by trusted friends. We learn that while injustice may bend us, it should never break us, and God specializes in guiding us through these difficult situations.
We conclude this week by highlighting the biblical parallel between the oppression of the Israelites in Egypt and the ultimate redemption brought by Moses, connecting it to the redemptive message of Jesus. It emphasizes that despite the world’s injustices, the Lord has the power to restore and guide us.
